You gave me some advice for working with my nervous horse by introducing more choice into what behaviors I ask for, like offering a target as an easy option if what I'm asking is too hard. As soon as I noticed any tension I would ask for an easy behavior like a target and she would immediately relax again. She stayed much calmer and I feel much more confident about working with her.
