As a lifelong equestrian, a certified equine behaviorist through the IAABC and positive reinforcement clinician, I'm not quick to call someone's training exceptional.

I first came across Lincoln, a breathtaking Friesian Sport Horse-Barock Pinto type gelding that Julia had for sale. Initially, I passed on him-he was outside my budget and all the way on the West Coast, while I'm on the East Coast.

But as I reviewed his training videos, I was struck by Julia's depth of knowledge and skill. Her ability to seamlessly integrate both positive reinforcement and pressure-and-release techniques is incredibly rare. She doesn't just train horses; she understands and applies the science of learning with a level of finesse that is truly uncommon in the industry.

I couldn't resist reaching out to tell her how impressed I was. At the time, I had no idea she had already built a strong following in her own right.

Long story short, Julia was so gracious and helpful that we were able to make that stunning West Coast gelding a part of our farm here on the East Coast.
