1 cup oatmeal
1 cup bran cereal (any kind)
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp veg oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup molasses
Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Lightly oil your hads so that the dough doesn't stick to them. Roll into 1 inch balls. Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Put balls on sheet. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. These cookies keep their shape, and do not spread out on the pan, so they can be placed close together.
1 Box bran or bran muffin mix
1 bottle of molasses
2 cups of wheat, oat and barley mix or oatmeal
Heat oven to 350. Grease muffin molds with butter. in a big bowl, mix 2 cups of wheat mix (or oatmeal) and one cup of bran. Add some water, a little at a time until the mix isn't too dry. Add 1/4 of the molasses bottle and mix. Cook for about 25-35 minutes, until it seems crisp.
7 cups sweet feed
2 12 oz jars dark molasses
1 cup Apple Sauce
2 1/2 cups flour
Mix the first 3 ingredients. Coat muffin mold with oil. Press dough down into mold. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until dark brown.
You can add grated carrots or apples if you like.

These have a tendency to go very quickly at horse shows - some people even eat them and the horses love them.
